Some audiences are meant to be small.
Live streaming has gotten very good at reaching everyone. It has not gotten very good at reaching only the right people.
The tools built for the public internet chase discovery, virality, and reach. The tools built for meetings give up video quality and polish. And when what you're saying is confidential, paid, or personal, neither feels right.
ClosedDoors Live exists for those moments: the board briefing that shouldn't leave the room, the masterclass your students paid for, the acoustic set meant for your most loyal fans.
What we believe
Four core principles guide how we design and engineer ClosedDoors Live.
Privacy is the default, not a setting.
Every room starts locked. You open it to exactly the people you choose. No accidental exposure, no public algorithmic discoverability.
Private shouldn't mean low quality.
You deserve broadcast-grade video and audio using the professional tools you already know like OBS, vMix, and high-end hardware encoders.
Access should be easy for guests and hard to abuse.
A frictionless one-time code gets people in without remembering passwords. Cryptographic device binding keeps shared links from becoming open doors.
Guests deserve respect too.
Attendees' email addresses are masked from one another, and we collect only what we need to verify access and run the event securely.
The name
“ClosedDoors is the velvet rope for the digital age: the feeling of a room where everyone present was invited.”
